An exciting adventure playground featuring a giant slide, climbing tower, tunnels, nets and swings is the centrepiece of this child-friendly park.

A colour-filled adventure in the centre of the city that will engage all of your senses.

Incorporating public art by Nuha Saas, Wulaba Park is the unique creation of PlayRope, Fleetwood Urban and Sturt Noble, the lead consultant, who worked together to deliver a cohesive and integrated design. Following a comprehensive consultation process, this park was one of many new facilities invested in by the City of Sydney, as it caters to the significantly changing population and nature of suburbs like Waterloo, where new apartment buildings are creating a need for family-friendly facilities.

The concept of the park is innovative and unique, with a custom-designed tower that reflects classic Hills Rockets of the past. The tower is accompanied by a raised fort landing which is an important visual element, as well as a giant slide, climbing equipment with rope and cable, swings, nature play and tunnels.

The park truly provides a memorable experience for children, by combining custom and existing elements to promote imaginative and narrative-based play. Sturt Noble and Associates worked closely with PlayRope to create a space that enhances a change in tone for the area and provides access to adventure for children of all ages and abilities.
