Inspired by the unique and engaging 'Margaret Mahy's Family Playground' in Christchurch, Hastings District Council approached PlayRope to create an exciting, sensory play space with water and sound, in its extensively redeveloped Havelock North Domain reserve.

The specially-designed Kaiser and Kuhne water play system brings children together with their family and friends to investigate how the unique water pumping design works. This is non-prescriptive play at its best! This amazing park also includes a number of high-quality distinctive play elements that both complement the water play system and provide additional engagement, creating a fun and intriguing play space for the whole family.

Fun activities encouraging integration and social play for the whole family.

Playrope provided a preliminary concept design that was refined in conjunction with council and community to ensure a successful outcome.
